Planning Approval Secured for Ingenuity at White Rose Park

We are delighted to announce that planning approval has been granted for Ingenuity at White Rose Park — a major milestone for this ambitious innovation hub in South Leeds.

Ingenuity will deliver 20,000 sq ft of highly flexible, collaborative space dedicated to entrepreneurship, research and cross-sector partnership. Conceived as a “living lab,” the building will provide adaptable workspaces, maker facilities and event areas designed to foster experimentation, creativity and real-world problem solving.

Supporting Leeds' Smart City Ambitions

The Ingenuity hub approval has been welcomed by local leaders and stakeholders, as it reinforces Leeds City Region’s reputation for forward-thinking urban development. With its emphasis on digital technology, collaboration and talent cultivation, the project complements existing regional strategies aimed at boosting inclusive growth and regional competitiveness. Once operational, Ingenuity is expected to provide thousands of square feet of new workspace — complete with innovation labs, event spaces and collaborative meeting rooms — while also serving as a magnet for businesses, academic partners and civic organisations keen to work on real-world solutions.

"Our vision for Ingenuity has always been to create more than a building — to design an environment that actively supports inclusive innovation and meaningful collaboration. Located within the evolving White Rose Park campus, the project will play a key role in strengthening the area’s identity as a leading knowledge and talent destination in the North of England." added Nathan Bush

With planning now secured, we look forward to progressing the next stage of development and bringing Ingenuity to life.
